delicious summer soups from our August Collection, as well as local wines and cuisine from Water's Catering.
 Cosmos Coffee Cafe will be sampling two of our most popular chilis and we want your opinion!

La Mesa Chili Cook Off Winner: Most Unique Chili Recipe!
In partnership with Cosmos Coffee Cafe at the 1st Annual Keller William Chili Cook Off, Decker Brothers Gourmet
won an award for The Most Unique Chili recipe. Hundreds of La Mesa spectators, judges and residents sampled our famous
Chili Mole and judged it to be The Most Unique Chili Recipe.
We're looking forward to working with Cosmos Coffee Cafe next year. Stop by and See them for some of our delicious, and now award-winning,
Chili Mole or any of our other delicous soup selections.

Mama's Day 2009 - A fundraiser for Mama's Kitchen!
If your not familiar with Mama's Kitchen then your missing out on one
of San Diego's most inspiring charities. Mama's Kitchen, a volunteer-driven organization, delivers food and
hope to anyone in San Diego County affected by a critical illness such as AIDS, cancer or diabetes.
They care for every man, woman and child, straight and gay, every ethnicity, every race.
Critical illness does not discriminate and neither does Mama's Kitchen.
Decker Brothers Gourmet was proud to donate our time and our soup to Mama's Day 2009. We were one of over 150 local restaurants, caterers and chefs
to set up a display table and sample our product. Each year, Mama's Day draws in over 400 of San Diego's finest gastronomes at the beautiful
Hyatt Aventine La Jolla. We would like to thank Don Caulfield, Scott Gardner and ALL of the many committee memebers and volunteers who made
this evening such a beautiful success! |
